i consider myself an artist lead by the final work rather than the process used but this often involves experimenting with various creative methods to achieve the desired visual effect or result.

therefor i use a variety of methods to create my work from vintage equipment and alchemy to digital capture and manipulation, whatever works for the image.
……..  also i guess that i fear being pigeon holed as specific type of artist.

traditionally i use digital capture for the flexibility and ability to react to creative inspiration although more recently i have been practicing in film and wet plate collodion capture and alternative printing which allows us to slow down for more considered photography.

most of the methods that i use have their places to create the final image for my fine art photography whilst some are just for the enjoyment of being creative. the more we play the more we learn !!
